I have spent the last 20 years studying soft tissue manual therapy, bodywork, exercise, movement, mobility, biomechanics and neurology. My passion is helping people move more efficiently and comfortably.

After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Oregon State University in 1998, I was a personal/group trainer for a few years. My clientele at the time was comprised of those experiencing some sort of injury or physical limitation. I began using a lot of hands on bodywork techniques and soon realized I wanted to get licensed as a massage therapist. Since then I've been using soft tissue manual therapy, exercise, movement therapy and massage/bodywork techniques to help my clients move more efficiently, easily and without pain.

In my leisure time I enjoy slacklining, strength training, aerobic condition and exploring new skills and movement. I also love training my Frisbee dogs, Makani and Allie, golfing, kiteboarding, martial arts, drumming and spending time with my wife Katie.

I strongly believe in a life of exploration and experimentation. In my experience, there are not many hard and fast rules about how our bodies operate. There are many entry points but it is ultimately up to the individual to figure out what works best for them. As a bodyworker and movement coach I want to help people not only move and feel better, but to know how to help themselves along the way.
